Showcase/Developmental Teams
Why choose Building Champions' High School Program? “First, I like to call it “developmental baseball” because the showcase takes care of itself with the amount of college coaches we play in front of. All the players we have had in our system end up where they need to be. I’m more concerned on preparing the kids for college or pro ball. Those levels are completely different than high school baseball or any little league sanctions they have experienced. The development is where we put our focus to give our players a chance. Since we started the showcase teams in 2007, we have placed over 150 college players, 10 went in the MLB draft , and 1 is in the big leagues. The connections that we have built with college coaches across the country are endless. College coaches come watch our teams play in the summer because they trust our system and they know we will have a player ready for them. We do a great job maximizing each player’s ability and then getting them in front of as many people as possible so they can choose where they want to further their education or pro career in baseball. Our connections with other organizations such as Premier Baseball and the Rawlings Prospects give us an unmatched advantage on getting our players seen more. I’m also a scout with the Kansas City Royals Organization and have been drafted 3 times in my career so I understand that process as well.” Jeremy Jones (Founder of Building Champions) Expectations: – The best coaches with college and/or pro experience – The best exposure and competition in the Midwest – Great developmental practices (identical to college/pro practices) – Placement in college baseball and pro exposure – Mentoring to become great young men – Connections to college coaches across the country at all levels
